2008-2009

Veritas Evangelical Seminary was co-founded by Norman L. Geisler (Provost) and Joseph M. Holden (President) in 2008 to expand the vision of educating educators, training trainers, and teaching teachers to proclaim the gospel, equip the saints, and defend the historic Christian faith through classically conservative biblical scholarship.

In October 2008, VES was granted corporation status by the California Department of State and our current campus location in Murrieta, California, was graciously granted by Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. On February 25, 2009, the Seminary was awarded its 501(c)3 non-profit tax exempt status, and the Seminary's first course commenced on March 9, 2009.

2010

On January 6, Dr. Norman L. Geisler was appointed to the VES Norman L. Geisler Chair of Christian Apologetics.
